Stepanek gives Czech Republic 1-0 lead, withstands 78 aces

Radek Stepanek came through a near six-hour, five-set marathon singles rubber with Ivo Karlovic on Friday. The veteran Czech withstood a record-setting 78 aces from the Croat to take the opening point for his country.
